What changes by neighborhood
How sewer problems change across Aurora
Older northwest neighborhoods tend to have clay or cast iron service lines, alleys and big trees. Mid-century subdivisions have basements and laterals that have now passed sixty years. Townhome and condo communities share lines and rely on associations. Southeast master-planned areas have newer PVC that can still settle, catch construction debris or shift in swelling soils. Each page explains the local picture.
Aurora also extends into three counties, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas, but the city's wastewater rules apply throughout the city. Calling is the fastest way to confirm a plumber covers your address.
